From the L.A. area, Kern began his solo career at the historic PALOMINO CLUB in
North Hollywood, moving quickly to other venues in Southern California and beyond.
He performs his own style of Country/Blues/Americana as a solo act, and with a strong
set of backing musicians which includes DANNY OTT on lead guitars (Garth Hudson,
Gregg Allman, Chris Gaffney & The Cold Hard Facts), JOHN BAZZ on bass (Blasters,

the new, full-length album of 12 original songs recorded live from 2004 through 2005 during West Coast tour dates
in California at The Raven Theater in Healdsburg, The Fret House in Covina and The Cat Studio in Long Beach.
This is Kern's 2nd independent album release.
